NGATEA STOCK SALE. There was a good yarding of cattle at the Farmers’ Auctioneering Co.’s monthly stock sale at Ngatea « l n Tuesday, store cattle being predominant. ; The attendance was large, and prices ranged from fair to good. Medium fat steers brought £9 15s ; fat cows from £6 15s to £8 10s, lighter £4 5s to £6 10s; fresh-conditioned cows £3 to £4 2s 6d ; young store cowis £3 tb X 4 2s 6d; store cows 17s to 30s ; bulls for freezing purposes .£4 to £5 12s 6d ; good quality empty two-year-old Shorthorn. heifers £2 10s, Jersey cross £3 9s ; mixed qualities from 34s to £2 ; springing heifers £6 to £7 10s, backward* £4 ; good dairy cows £6 15s to £B, others up to £3. Weaner pigs sold at from 16s to 21s 6d, and a big boar at £3.
