PAEROA CRICKET CLUB.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE. PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT. A brief meeting of the committee of the Paeroa Cricket Club was held on Wednesday evening, there being present : Messrs H. M. Shand, C. Rolton, C. Farrow, J. Verran. and C. H. Halliday secretary. The chairman explained that the meeting had been called to decide on what new gear should be puixhased for the coming season. After some discussion it was decided to send for two sets of pads, wicketkeeping gloves, and balls. The offer of Messrs H. E. Butler and D. McWatters to donate a bat each was gratefully accepted, and the club's appreciation of the donors’ generosity was duly recorded.
