• MEETING OF COMMITTEES. FACTORY AND CARTAGE A meeting of the Paeroa Central Factory Committee and conveners of cartage committees of the N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., was held in the Soldiers’ Club, Paeroa, yesterday morning. Mr E. J. Smith, Puriri, presided over a fair number of suppliers from Matatoki, Puriri, Hikutaia, Waihi, and Paeroa. • Mr G. Buchanan, the local director of the company, explained several matters in connection with the company's balance-sheet and annual report, and also briefly touched on the recent market reports and prospective prices for the current supply. An interesting address was delivered by Mr L. B. Morris, manager of the Paeroa factory, on factory methods and manufacturing costs., fne various cartage services were discussed at length, and a number of questions were answered by Messrs A. Tattersail (outside organiser) and W. H. Blakeway (branch secretary).
The meeting closed with the custornary vote of thanks to the chair.
