PAEROA RUGBY UNION. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. The regular meeting of the Paeroa Pugby Union Committee was held last evening, Mr P. EL Brenan (chairman) presiding over Messrs H. M. Shand, T. Welch, F. G. Otter, C. T. Mettam, W. Pennell, and C. H. Butcher (secretary). REPRESENTATIVE JERSEYS. it was decided to lend the representative jerseys to a local - junior team to play in a match at Te Aroha on Saturday. TEAM FOR ROTORUA. It w ; as decided that no objection would be made to an unofficial senior team travelling to Rotorua, provided the date decided on to play the match was other than September 27. It was agreed to loan the representative jerseys to the team. ANNUAL SMOKER. After some discussion it was agreed to hold the annual smoke concert on Saturday, 27th, when the opportunity would be taken to present the trophies won during the season. Arrangements for the function were left in the hands of Mr Pennell and the secretary. ACCOUNTS. Accounts totalling £27 13s 6d Were passed for payment.
