WEDDING BELLS.
O’NEILL—HEDGE. On Wednesday last, at St. Marks Churcn, Te Aroha, Clarence Norman O’Neill of Paeroa, and second son of Mr James O’Neill, of Wellington, was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss Edna J. Hedge, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Hedge, of Somerstown, Te Aroha. The officiating minister was the RQv. R. L. Connolly. The bride, whb was given away by her father, was prettily attired in a tastefully draped gowh of brocaded crepe de chine, and she wore orange blossoms and veil, and carried a sheath of cream spring flowers. She was attended by her sister, Miss Kathleen Hedge, who acted as bridesmaid, and looked dainty in her frock of turquoise embossed crepe de chine, trimmed with tiny picot ruchings. She wore gold shoes and hat, and carried a bouquet of gold coloured flowers. Little Misses Joan and Barbara Clarke were flower girls, and looked sweet in frocks of shell-pink crepe de chine, with gold hats and shoes, and posies of pink cyclamens and hyacinths. After the ceremony the wedding party and guests partook of the breakfast at the-home of the bride’s parents. The couple afterwards left by motor car for theii- honeymoon, the bride’s travelling costume being of fawu, with hat to match. The future home of Mr and Mrs O’Neill will be at Paeroa—Te Aroha News.
