PERSONAL.
Mr D. J. Donald is relieving stationmaster at Paeroa during the absence on annual holiday of Mr C. A. Arthur. Captain E. Grice, of Pukekohe,' has been transferred to Paeroa to take chaig* of the local Salvation Army Corps. Mr F. Basham, the new county engineer, arrived on the Plains to-day to take up duty. Mr Higgins will leave at the end of the present month.
