TO-NIGHT. PARTNERS OF THE SUNSET. At the Gaiety Theatre to-night a William Eox production, ’‘Partners of the S 'piiset,” will be screened. The pictuie reveals the thrill, of the open plains, bucking bronchos, stampeding cattle and the fight of a penniless society girl to make good on a ranch. The story is about Pae Mrireland, a society girl, who inherits a ranch and decides to take up her residence on it. Here she learns to ride and shoot like a native daughter, and finds her romance when a young geologist happens along to protect her from the villainous neighbouring ranchman who desires to cheat her out of her property. Included in the caist are Robert Frazer, Allene Ray, and Mildred Bright. THE LUCK OF THE FULLERS. The following is from “Fuller New,” tlie official organ of Fuller’s Theatres : “The Miranos, whose sen - sational Flying Torpedo is arousing much comment, are top-notchers in Continental theatres, and were brought to Australia to play their daring balancing novelty and loopthc loop sensation which surprised audiences some fifteen months ago. At the end of their season they, told Sir Benjamin Fuller that they had at their home in Paris the gear for an action that would quite eclipse in daring what they were then doing, and that it was something different to any other turn in the world. It was difficult for Sir Benjamin to arrive at just what they were trying to describe, as neither of the principals had a great command of English. However, when they told him what the gear was worth and what salary they wanted to produce the act he understood that part all right, for it made him gasp. However, he is a bit of a gamblerall successful showmen must be —and told them to go ahead. Cables to Paris brought the • gear out. Once again the Fuller luck holds, for .it is without a doubt the most sensational and successful stage novelty ever seen in Australia.”
