The fact that the cows were coming in and it would be extremely difficult for some of the representative team to gel away to play unless some arrangement was made to have their, cows i Hiked, was stressed by the pre-' sidem, who urged delegates to do their heist to get some other footballer to do the milking, so that the union would not be let down at this stage-, when it had a reasonable chayice of winning in the various competitions. There was no doubt that the Poland Cup competition was of little use to the Hauraki Plains Union, but it would be a pity to have to drop out at this stage. Delegates promised to do what they could in the matter. Accounts totalling £l4 Ils 4d were passco for payment. The payment of car hire accounts for the Piako match and the expenses in connection with the trip were also authorised.
