Mr E. W. Porritt is at present on a visit to Wellington; where he will confer with the Crown Law Officer and the Hon. J. G. Coates with a view to getting a statement of facts submitted by the petitioners for compensation ’n the pending area at Paeroa approved by the Crown Law Office as soon as possible. Mr T. Vowles, Netherton, has received advice to the effect that his brother, Mr G. H. Vowles, Thames Road, Paeroa, has left on the return trip to New Zealand. Mr and Mrs Vowles are returning by the Orient line, via the Suez Canal and Australia.
