The first round of the President’s Trophy , played on Saturday last, resulted in points being awarded as follows : H. Bray, 83—9—74, 3 points ; P. R. Hubbard, 112—35—77, 2 points; W. R. Dales, 94—16—78 ; H. Somervell, 94 —1G —78 ; and C. N. O’Neill, 113— 35 —78, tied for 1 point. The last three players will play off their tie over 18 holes to decide the receiver of the remaining point. The Club Championship will be played on Saturday next, the draw for the first round to be at 2 p.m. sharp. LADIES. The following results of the Canadian Foursome match last Saturday were registered: Mrs Miller and Mrs Bain, 103—24 79 ; Mis Silcock and Miss Sutton, 106 —27—-79 ; Mrs Bray and Mrs Lawrence, 103—23—80; Misses M. and L. Thorp 115—29—86; Mrs Taylor and Miss Tierney, 137—36—101 1 Mrs Andrews rnd Mrs Byrne, 132 —36 96. In the play-off Mrs Miller and Mrs Bain won. The draw for the first round of the Club Championship, :o be played next Saturday, is as follows : Mrs Bray plays Miss L. Thorp, Mrs Arthu • plays Mrs Bain, Miss M. Thorp play's Mias Poland, Miss F. Walmsley plays Mrs Lawrence, Mrs Silcock plays Miss E. Walmsley, Mrs Miller plays Miss Buchanan, Miss Argali plays Mists Tierney. The trophy donated by Mrs C. Topliss for limit handicap players will also l.e played for, the draw being ais follows : Miss Menzies pays Miss Shaw, Mrs Porritt plays Mrs Taylor, Mrs Byrne plays Mrs McDougall.
