POLICE COURT.
MONDAY, JUNE 1«, 1924. (Before Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M.) At the Police Court, Paeroa, this morning, before Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M., Gordon Rodgers, agqd 35, labourer, was charged with drunkenness in Belmont Road, Paeroa, last evening. Constable McClinchy stated that he Had arrested Rodgers in .a drunken condition just about dark last night. He had also received a complaint from Gillard’s boardinghouse that defendant had used obscene language in tlie dining-room to the waitress. He understood that accused had obtained liquor at either Kopu or Thames. Rodgers was convicted and fined £l, tlie amount of his bail.
