» Mr J. L. Bruce, advance manager for the famous Lynch Family of Bellringers. was in Paeroa yesterday, making arrangements for their visit here. Mr E. Shaw, engineer to the Ohinemuri County Council, entered the private hospital, Paeroa. this morning to undergo an operation to his arm, wihich.he had the misfortune to fracture on Friday evening last. The X-ray examination of the fracture disclosed that two ends of the bone are too far apart to permit of them knitting, and thus it was thought advisable to operate.
