to-night. THE LOVE BRAND. Some of the most picturesque and historic places in the South-West were utilised in the filming of the Universal picture "The Love Brand,” to be shown at the Gaiety Theatre tonight. The story is a romance of Lower California, and the O'Neil rancho provides all of the scenic atmosphere called for hi the story, from tlie rugged coastline of the Pacific shore to the broad mesas of the open cattle country. SATURDAY NIGHT. THE LIGHT IN THE DARK. Bessie Macgregor, an orphaned country girl, goes to New York to make ncr living. She obtains a position as a checkroom girl, but an automobile accident takes her from drab surroundings to a home of wealth and social standing. There-J. Warburton Ashe is fascinated by her charm and beauty, and makes love to her. She beb’eves him, but when she leartis of his deception she leaves. The finding of a strange cup in an English forest, however leads Ashe back to the girl in the slums of the East side.
