GAIETY THEATRE PICTURES. TO-NIGHT. ' THE NTH COMMANDMENT. You have seen many screen plays picturising life in a jazz-crazed era. It will be worth your while, therefore, to -attend the Gaiety Theatre tonight and see "The Nth Commandment,” a Paramount Cosmopolitan production of life as it is actually lived.- With, perhaps, the exception of "Humoresque,” this is a picture of unequalled human appeal. The trio that made “Humoresque,” Fannie Hurst, author; Frank Borzage, director ; and Frances Marion, scenarist, have equalled, if not beaten, their own record set by that production. THURSDAY NIGHT. SAWDUST. Herbert Standing, well known character actor of both the legitimate stage and the screen, whose air of refined dignity never fails to add flavour to a production in which he appears, has an important role as Colonel Wentworth, in “Sawdust,” a Universal attraction of old-time circus days, starring Gladys Walton, which will be shown bn Thursday. The story was written by Courtney Riley Cooper and produced .under the direction of Jack Conway. Also on the programme is Chapter 9 of “Round the World in 10 Days.’ SATURDAY NIGHT. THE ABYSMAL BRUTE. The picture for Saturday night, “The Abysmal Brute,” is Jack London’s sensational, world-famous story of a primitive youngster in modern days. Reginald Denny, of “LeatherPushers”' fame, plays the star roie. Never did a role utilise to better advantage his splendid physique and his ability as an actor and lover tha.i th’s. ' , HARD TO BEAR.
