FOOTBALL.
Un Saturday afternoon a scratch match Was played on the Paeroa Domain between two junior teams, comprising the Te Aroha Terriers and the West Club. The game was ragged throughout, and the teams played with only eleven men aside. The result was an easy victory for the West club by six points to nil. Mr R. B. P'-nlington was referee. The West club also sent a senior team to Te Aroha and a scratch match was played against a Te Aroha mixed senior team. The West team was beaten by 8 points to 5.
