The ,sad news of the sudden demise of Mr T. A. (Bert) Dunlop, auctioneer, of Thames, came quite as a shock .to his many Paeroa friends. “Bricky,’’ as he. was familiarly known, had a host of friends in the Thames Valley and Hauraki Plains who will miss his genial companionship. As auctioneer for the Farmers’ Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Hamilton, he was regarded as one of the best live stock salesmen in the province, and his -place xyill oe hard to fill. He was a keen judge of horses, and on several occasions acted as judge at the local show.
