SICKNESS AMONG CATTLE
FRESH SYMPTOMS* A FORM OF MAMMITIS. The dairy farmers, it appears, are seldom without some disease or sickness among their herds (says the Morrrnsville Star). Since the trouble at Ti’tuanui has been ventilated farmers in other parts of the district have found another problem confronting them. Following upon the flush of feed caused by the recent heavy rains a number of the cows have con tracted what is believed to be a form of nianimitis. Some farmers have two or three cows affected, while in one ca’e it is far more serious,' 20 put of a herd of 60 cows being afflicted.
