H ANDICAP TOURNAMENT. Tne second and third rounds of the handicap tournament organised by the Hauraki Plains Tennis Association have now been played. The following results have been forwarded to the secretary :—

Men’s Singles.—Law beat Henry, 70 —63 : Freeklingtou beat Anderson ; Murphy beat MeClune, 70—41; Waite bent B McMillan, 70—60", McCaldon bent Otter, 71—69. Men's Doubles. —Murphy and Robb beat McCaldon and Walker, 70 —62 ; Coppins and Coppins beat McClane and F. Stretton, 70 —46; Otter and Griffiths beat Brownlee and G. MirMillan. 70—51 : Fox and Wright beat Bagnall and Mules, 70 —62. THIRD ROUND. Men’s Singles.—Brownlee beat Robinson, 70—66 ; G. McMillan beat Law, 70—56; S. Cpppins beat Barlow, 70— 47 ; Valentine beat Fox, 70 —67 ; McCnldon beat Vowles, 70—46 ; Murphy beat Whitwell, 70 1 —56 ; Robb beat L. Candy, 70—60.

Men’s Doubles. —Coppins and Coppins Avon from Fox and Wright by default ; Robinson and Billing beat Henry and Frecklington, 70 —60 ; L. Bagnall and Fawcett beat. Otter and Griffiths, 70—60.

Indies’ Singles.—Miss K. Miller beat Miss B. Benny, 50—47 ; Miss M O’Carroll beat Miss Douslin, 51 —49 , Miss Bild beat Mrs Scott, 50 —35 ; Miss Wade beat Mrs Waite, 50 —45 ; Miss M. Clotworthy beat Miss Gibb, 50 --19; Miss F. Clotworthy beat Mrs D. G. McMillan, 50 —48.
