ALLADIN PANTOMIME COMPANY. VISIT TO PAEROA. The word “pantomime,” like “circus,” conjures up in the mind visions of childhood days, when we were not qu : te as worldly as we are to-day. Our outlook on life has changed since the time when we were convinced that the fairy princess had only to wave her magic wand in order to banish tiie wicked demon and' bring love and happiness to the handsome principal boy and hi's pretty sweetheart. Still, although we’ve grown older, and perhaps'wiser, we often look back longingly to the bygone days, and wish we could live them over again. So when the pantomime conies round we are always keen and anxious to renew associations with our old friends the Dame, her manly son (whose love, for the dainty principal girl seems at first so hopeless), the bold bad baron, and the hundred and one things that go to make up a good pantomime. We are to have an opportunity of being rejuvenated on Tuesday, February 26, at the Central Theatre. Seats may be booked without extra charge at Flatt’s.
