WEDDING BELLS.
BANKS—VINCENT. A very pretty choral wedding was cnlebiated on December 17. 1923, at St. Paul’S Church, Paeroa, when Miss Sarah A. Vincent, second daughter of Mr and Mrs C. H. Vincent, of Paeroa. was married to Mr Thomas Banks, second son of Mr and Mrs J. T. Banks, of Ellerslie, Auckland. The Rev. F"B. Dobson was the officiating minister and Miss F. Dobson presided at the organ.
The bride, who was given away oy her brother. Mr D. A. Vincent, looked very striking in a beautiful gown of ivory satin soluel, with train lined wi'h iiiiJest pink falling gracefully from the shoulders. The veil of embroidered tulle was held bv clusters of orange blossoms. The chief bridesmaid, Miss Lois Vincent, wore a frock of almond green sylvia crepe with r. nigger brown hat, while Miss Esther Vincent, who also attended the bride, wore gold sylvia crepe with hat to match. Mr Archie Banks was' best man and Mr J. Banks groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Returned Soldiers’ Hall, where Mrs Vincent, mother of the bride, received the guests. The hall was beautifully decorated with .spring flowers, and a large number of guests sat down. to a sumptuous wedding breakfast. Tn the evening an enjoyable dance was held..
