Mr R. W. Baker, district engineer, Public Works Department., is in Patron on departmental business.
Mr and Mrs F. S. Budd and family leave Paeroa for their new home in Hastings to-day. Mr Budd and some of his family are motoring through by car, and Mrs Budd is leaving by train this evening.
