PERSONAL.
Mr C. FA Bennett, Mayor of Mt. Albert, was a visitor to Paeroa yes-te>--lay, and left in the afternoon for Nefhcrton.
A party of Auckland schoolmasters and friends, comprising Messrs E. Rudman, Alex. McGregor, J. Vuglar, and Armstrong, who are making a tour of the South Auckland district, arrived in. Paeroa on Tuesday last, and were entertained at the Ohinem.iri Club and also enjoyed a game of bowls on the local rinks before proceeding on their tour. Mr J. Vuglar is a brother of Mr T. P. Vuglar. of Paeroa, and he expressed surprise at the progress the town had made since he-last visited it.
