Tiie many friends of Mr R. W. Evans, of Paeroa, will regret to learn of the death of his sister, Miss Alite Lycett Evans, who passed away at “Holly Lea,” Christchurch, on Christmas Eve. Mr J. H. Salmon, S.M., has been granted a three months’ holiday from the beginning of January, 1924. Mr Salmon will spend part of his hol : - day in Sydney. Mr J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., will undertake Mr Salmon -; duties during his absence. The Rev. A. E. Jefferson, accom- ? panied by his wife and family, intend leaving Paeroa on January 2 for a three weeks’ holiday in North Auckland. 1 * a ’ s *
