HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Cp-operatlve Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Hamilton on Tuesday last we -had a.moderate yarding.of stock, but with the exception of pigs everything was slow of sale. Beef was in fair supply, but met with poor competition. Steers made to £9 ss, lighter weights to £7 10s ; fat cow,s £3 10s to £4'los ; forward cows £2 .8s to £3 ; ( store cows £1 5s to £1 15s; bulls £2 to £2 155.. Pigs were penned in large numbers and. sold at firmer rates .than ~ in previous , weeks. Heavy baconers sold from £3 12s to £3 19.5; lighter, from £3 5s to £3 Ils ; porkers £2 7s to £2 16s, light from 35s tp £2 2s, unfinished 28s to 355; good slips 23s to 325, others 17s to £1; best weaners 17s, others from 9s to 14s.
