COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the special roll prepared under section 3 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913,” and containing the names of all ratepayers, together with the numbers of sections, blocks, areas, and rateable values of lands included in the HorahiaOpou Special Drainage Rating Area, has been this day deposited in the County Office, Ngatea, for public inspection until the fifth day of January, 1924. Objections must be written, and in duplicate, and must be lodged with the undersigned within SEVEN DAYS after the last day on which the said roll is deposited as aforesaid. PURSUANT to Section 10 of ’ “The Local Elections and Polls Amendment Act, 1913,” I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Horahia Riding Roads Loan Special Rating Area in the County of Hauraki Plains taken on the 12th day of December, 1923, on the proposal of the Hauraki Plains County Council to borrow the sum of £28.600 for the construction of bitumen roads in the said Riding The number of votes recorded. NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work —to wit, the construction of a road in Block VI., Waihou Survey District, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Kerepeehi, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
