PURSUANT to the Land Drainage Act, 1908, it is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excel-, lency the Governor-General praying that the Maungakawa Drainage District in the County of Piako may be abolished. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed abolition of the said Drainage District which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice.
