KEREPEEHI. ROADING. The road across the Kerepeehi block has now been formed for its entire length, and about three-quarters of a mile has been metalled. A bridge across the Awaiti canal will be erected next year by the Lands Department. A punt will probably be placed near the Ngarua- wharf for a ferry. THE NEW DREDGE*Thu erection of the new American steam dipper dredge at Kerepeehi is practically completed. Several parts will not be fitted until the machine is ready to commence work, as their enormous size would hinder the .transportation of the dredge. It i.s not knbwn where the dredge will commence working, but it is thought that it will be in the Ngarua-Awaiti canal. rhe pontoon for the second dredge of this type Is now receiving the finishing touches, and the machinery is being, disassembled ready /or re-erec-tion after the holidays.
