For the purpose of undergoing. an operation Mrs Curran is to enter the hospital. The many friends of Mr J. Fitzgerald, who has been an Inmate of the Waihi hospital for the past 18 months, will regret to hear that, it was necessary for another operation to he performed last week. Mr M. Rimington, who met with a severe accident to his hand some few weeks ago, has had two of his ..fingers amputated owing to blood poisoning. Mrs Wilson and family are leaving the district next week to take up their residence in Auckland. Mrs McGruer is at present in Auckland visiting her daughter, who has been ill.
