CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES TO-NIGHT. THE DINKUM BLOKE. “The Dinkum Bloke” is a tale simply yet forcefully told of real Australian life with a good cask which includes Arthur Tauchert, who will be remembered in “The Sentimental Bloke.” It is a comedy-drama that mingles the slums of the big city with the glittering homes of the wealthy. A NOTABLE EVENT. VISIT OF WESTMINSTER GLEE SINGERS. Residents of Paeroa and surrounding districts will no doubt be delighted at the announcement that the world-famous Westminster Glee Singers, who. have concluded a veritable triumphant season in Australia, and who are now paying a farewell visit, to New Zealand under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency the Governor-General, Viscount jeDicoe, prior to their return to England via South Africa, are to give a concert at the Central Hall on Wednesday next. This unique event has be n n brought about as a result of a special arrangement whereby the leave of the Westminster Glee Singers has been extended by the authorities of the various cathedrals to which they belong.
