ABUNDANT HOT WATER.

FOB FARMERS AND HOMES. st ——— — F. BATTSON’S EXHIBIT. Over in the shade of the willow tree at the rear of the bowling pavilion a miniature Rotorua is to be found in fu’l display. This exhibit is a simple anl unique hot water service controlled by Batison’s, the well-known plumbers of Paeroa and Thames. Mi W. J. Simpson, manager of the Paeroa branch, has charge of the exhibit. Farmers who do not possess an ample supply of hot water on their farms should be attracted by this exhibit, especially when hot water plays sucn an important part in keeping all dairying machinery and extras clean and sanitary, thereby assisting materially in the production of superfine butterfat. The exhibit on the showground provides for 200 gallons .if boiling water per hour, and this quantity of water can be maintained at boiling point by simply burning old newspapers, rags, and bones. Very little firewood is required, and once the fire is properly banked and the damper adjusted, it will burn for hours without further attention. The service can be installed either from high or low pressure, and can be run from a tank of water on a farm just as efficiently as from a town supply. Th° whole service is portable, cheap, reliable, and easily erected. The in- ■ vention is of particular interest to housewives during the hot summer months, as by the installation of the service in their homes it saveSjthe hot ani messy business of lighting up the ki'chen range. Instal one ?f BattS|On’s services, and with the aid of a fee. chips an adequate supplv of hot water for all household needs is assured. Mr Simpson will be on the showground giving demonstrations each day, and will be only too happy to mipply full particulars as to price and cost of installing.
