HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Hamilton on Tuesday,, November 20, there was a small yarding of all classes of stock, and in general business was quiet. Fat cattle values wore similar to the previous week, steers making to £9 19s for medium weights. Only a few fat cows were penned. Forward cows made from £2 15s to £3 Ils, store cows. £1 5s to £1 15s. Empty heifers were in better demand and brisk competition was met with. Best quality sold for £2 16s to £3 Bs, yearling Holstein heifers £2 ss. Dairy cattle were slow of sale, making from £4 15s to £6 10s. Tigs were not so plentiful as at recent stales. Values remained much on the basis of last week. Baconers made from £3 5s to £4 ! ss, porkers £2 8s to £3 2s 6d, slips. Slips sold well from £1 2s 6d to £1 12,s 6d weaners 8s to 16s 6d.
