GOLF.

The Hanna Shield competition will be played on Saturday next over !2 holes. The draw will take place at 2 p.m. slurp, A tea’ of lady players from Thames will play a friendly match on the local links to-morrow (Thursday). Play will commence at 11.30 a.m., and it is hoped that all lady players able to participate in the game will be on the links at that time. There will be a general afiternoon tea.
