HAMILTON STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., report:— At Hamilton sale on Tuesday last there was a good entry of sheep, with a steady demand for muttoil® butchers from outside centres operating. Heavy prime fat ewes made 31s 6d 31s 9d, lighter fat ewes 27s : fat wethers 32s 9d to. 35s 6d ; forward hoggets 20s 2d to 22s 6d. There was a ready sale for beef, mainly grown steers lacking in finish, the best selling at £7 5s to £7 10s, lighter weights £6 to £6 ss; fat cows, good, £5 7s 6d to £5 15s. The advertised forward bullocks sold well up to recent values, making £4 15s to £5 6s. Store cows made. 26,s ajid 27s 6d, calves, poor, 10s to £l' 4fe. A smaller yarding of fat pigs realised good values,. baconers selling to .£4 3s, porkers to £2 15s. A large entry of store pigs brought strong competition, grown stores selling at from 27s to 36s 6d, slips and other stores 16s to , 265, weaners 10s to 14s 6d.
