WARDEN’S COURT.
MONDAY, JULY 9, 1923. (Before Mr J. H. Salmon, Warden.) The following applications were granted by the Warden at thg Court on Monday:— F. j. Butcher ;l for residence site Waitekauri. R, Craig, for a license for Rawhiti S.Q.C. T. M. Shore, for prospecting licenses for Te Aroha and Victor, Waihpu tunnelling licenses.
Thomas M. Shore applied for a licence for a water race.on Dominion Creek. In giving evidence he produced his Miner’s Right and plan of locality, and said that he had pegged out the race and posted notices, on it. The race would not, in any way interfere with other work being carried oj.it. He knew of no objection to his application being granted. The creek was at the back of Stansfield’s house, but beyond his boundary.—The application was granted subject to the receipt of a plan from Kenny Bros. ■The following surrenderswere accepted :—
A. J. Andrew, residence site No. 65’2. Jane Armour and W. McConachie, 1 residence site, Owhaioa. F. J. Hollis, Jubilee S.Q.C. T. M. Shore, Dominion Creek.
