ENTERTAINMENTS.
CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES. Dear Patrons.—The programme we are submitting to you ito-night is based on Zane Grey’s popular novels “The Mysterious Rider.” We have screened a few of this writer’s pictures, and they were well received, a,nd we think this one will be no exception. On Wednesday night we screen “Sheltered Daughters/’ and a splendid supporting programme. Also the name of the person selected to who the children will present the maps, and we trust that whoever receives the prizes, there will be no illfeeling shown by those who were not so fortunate, because only one party can win them. We know that the smaller children are nt a disadvantage in this, but the Minister of Internal Affairs would not let us raffle them, which would have been an equal chance for all, so this is the only way out of it. —Woods and Jennings.
