SUNDAY TELEPHONE.

TO OPERATE IN PAEROA. At the last monthly meeting of 1 the Paeroa Chamber of Commerce a resolution was passed asking that the telephone exchange be opened for an hour on Sunday mornings and also an hour in the afternoons. This has been consented to, and we have received the following communication from the postmaster on the subject:— “Commencing on the 3rd instant the Paeroa Telephone Exchange will in future be open on Sundays from 9 to 10 a m., and sto 6 p.m.. From the 4th instant the attendance on holidays will be 9 to 10 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m.”
