GOLF.
The men’s medal match on Saturday was won by W. R. Dales with a net score of 72. Members will be pleased to learn that the services of the. club's coach, Mr J. Watt, who will remain in Paeroa for two weeks, will be available as from the 23rd inst. The timetable chavt. is now open for booking lessons, and to afford equal opportunity, no member may book more than one lesson until after 21st. On Saturday next a new competition for the Paeroa Club will be played on tlu/local links in the form of a Canadian foursome, which should create a good ,deal of interest as has been the case in other clubs where it is played. The draw will be at 2 p.m. sharp, the play being over eighteen holes.
