CLAUDELANDS STOCK SALE. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auction- ' eering Co., Ltd**, reports At Claudelands fortnightly sale on Thursday last there was an average muster of cattle and again a good ' yarding of pigs, while only a few sheep came forward. The bid of 32s for the fat wethers was below the vendor’s value. Fat ewes and wethers made 28s; fat steers £7 Is to. £7 5s ; ’ fat cows £4 to £5 2s 6d ; other kill able cows £2 to £3 15s ; stores and forward tows £1 to £1 18s; vealers £1 12s to £2 2s 6d ;■ cows and calves £1 7s 6d to £2 12s 6d; in calf Shorthorn heifers £6 ss; heifer ’calves* best, £1 10s to £2, others £1 Is to £1 8s ; extra well done steer calves £1 19s; dairy cows, good, £5 to £B, others £1 10s to £4 10s. Good values were realised for the pigs, heavy bacpners making £3 8s tp"£3 12s; medium baconers £3 3s to £3 7s; light baconers to heavy por.k- . ers £2 5s to £3 2s; light porkers £1 15s to £2 5.5; slips 17s to £1 2s ; weaners 7s 6d to ; 12s.
