/ ;ii a /g| || R-|gßit kerepeehl KEREPEEHI hospital site. - A public meeting was held at Kere-. sßpeehi "on Friday' evening -to discuss raising the balance of the money necessary to purchase the hospital site at Kerepeehi. The secretary reported that the sum raised to date was £ll3, and the sum required was - £ll6. Others were desirous of purchasing the proposed site and it was necessary to get moving at once. He suggested examining the -various - returned to see who had not con ' trihuted, and offered to interview the defaulters. Mr Thompson suggested an entertainment, and Mr H- Ward moved ' that a Plain and fancy dress m.asquei- ’ ade ball beheld on Thursday, June 28. Complete arrangements were madto ensure the function being a thorough success. , PATETONGA. hall society meeting. A general meeting of the Patetonga Hall Society was held on Saturday last. Mr J. F. Mayn (president) occupied the chair. ■ ■ . The annual report and balancesheet, was adopted. Mr Mayn stated that the. Patetong. . hall was* about the largest and finest on the Plains, and was a financia success. Since November, 1921, £7OO of the debt had been paid off. The balance still due was £849. ' It was decided* that the committee collect cash when necessary in pre- . ference to spending time, labour, anl money in organising bazaars. The following officers were elected .
