io . CONSTITUTION CEREMONY. NEW LODGE AT NGATEA. The constitution and dedication if, Lodge Hatiraki Plains took place at the newly-erected lodge . building, at Ngatea on Thursday before a very large attendance of the brethren frqm all parts of the province. M.W. Bro. O. Nicholson. P.G.M., and the officers of the N.Z. Pro. Grand Lodge and R. Wor. 6ro. J. Shand, Deputy P.G.M.. I. and his officers were present, and were received by the brethren with the customary honours. The consecration ceremony was entirely carried out most impressively ny .Grand Lodge, in accordance with thp time-honoured tradition of the Order, and. in this the P.G.M. was ably assisted by V.W. Bro, S. S. Allen, R.W. Bro. G H Powley, P.D.G.M., R : .W, B'*o. F. Kearsley, P.D.G.M., R.W. Bro. W. T, Leighton, P.J.G.W. V.W. Bro. Angns McDonald, P.G. Chaplain, Wor. Bro. Waring, P.S.G.D., and , Wor. Bro Andrews, P.J.GID. The musical part was entrusted to Wor. Bro. A. M. Bartley; P.G. Organist. V , INSTALLATION. The installation of the finlt, Wor. Master and officers of the Lodge was then proceeded with. Wor. Bro. W. E. Hale was duly installed the first Wor. Master by the P.G.M., and Wor. Bro. Hale invested his officers.for the year. Impressive addresses were delivered by the P.G'.M., R.W. Bro. S. SAlien, and R.W. Bro. F. Kearsley. The working tools in the three degrees were presented to new Master by the Wor. Masters of Lodges Waihi, Ohinemuri, and Te Aroha. Wor. Bro. Hale received congratulations from all quarters on his appointment, and the visitors r expressed their good wishes for the success of the new Lodge. The brethren then adjourned to the public hall, where they were most hospitably entertained by tip members of the Lodge. ■■ The following officers were elected:— S.W., Bro. C. W.
