OAMARU ELECTION.
IVIN FOR LIBERALS* The polling for the Oamai’u election look place yesterday, and resulted in’a win for the Liberal candidate, Mr McPherson. The voting was heavy, over 8600 recording their votes. The figures are McPherson __ — 4352 Lee — — 4012 Majority 340 There are still some 262 absentee votes to come, but the result cannot be altered.
