FIRE AT ORONGO.

FARM HOUSE DESTROYED. The dwelling house of Mr J. M. Maxwell, of drongo, was destroyed bv fire last night. Yesterday, while passing along the road, Mr J. C. Miller, chairman of the Hauraki Plains County Council, saw tile house on fire, and with the assistance of Mr G. Gray extinguished the Hames, and they thought,, completely put the fire put. but apparently there was a fresh outbreak. Mr Maxwell is at present an in mate of the hospital at Thames and Mrs Maxwell was alone in the building.
