ALLEGED FORGERY.
BAKER ARRESTED. On Saturday morning Constable McClinchy arrested Thomas Morris Bruce, a baker, residing in Paeroa, on a warrant that he did, on December 12 last at Auckland, wrongfully sign a letter in another person’s name without authority, thereby committing forgery. Accused was brought before Mr F. E. Flatt. J.P., and remanded to appear in Auckland on the 10 inst. Some further charges are pending.
