TENNIS.
HAURAKI PLAINS ASSOCIATION. A meeting of delegates of the Haiiraki Plains Tennis Association was held at Ngatea on Thursday last. There were present Messrs. J. MDevereaux (Kerepeehi). C. Strettpn (Waitakaruru), B. McMillan (Kopuarahi). W. Wylde (Ngatea).. and the secretary, A. Vowles (Hopai). The secretary submitted handicaps for the forthcoming tournament, ami these were adopted on the motion of Mr Devereaux, seconded by Mr Stretton. ‘ It was decided that the draw for. the first round be divided into two sections, with Kerepeehi. Each match is to be refereed, and the association secretary is to be notified of the results immediately, so that the second round can be arranged at a meeting to be held on Thursday, April 12.
