NETHERTON SUPPLIERS.
—-e VISIT TO EAST TAMAKI. Yesterday morning Messrs J. B. Whisker, B. Johnson, J. Harms, and R. H. Heappey, accompanied by Mr A. Tattehsall, of the N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Co., left by car for East Tamaki, where they intend visiting the Tamaki factory. There the delegation will meet Mr Leonard, secretary of the company, who will demonstrate the difference between proprietary and co-operative dairying concerns.' This visit is the outcome of the Netherton suppliers’ meeting, a full report of (which appeared in our issue of March 23. At that meeting some of the suppliers with favourable leanings towards proprietary concerns were invited t,o pay a visit to the factory mentioned, at the expense of the N.Z. Dairy Co., Ltd. The invitation was readily accepted by the suppliers. The N.Z. Dairy Co. believes in the saying “seeing is believing,” and it is felt that the expense incurred in touring the delegation round will be justified, as it is expected that they will return to their fellow suppliers at Netherton fully convinced that their own company can offer them the greatest facilities and benefits for the successful marketing pf their produce.
