SCHOOL PICNIC. . The Piplroa School picnic was held on Saturday last at the Pipiroa domain. There was an attendance of nearly a hundred, including over 40 adults, and a very pleasant day was spent in ideal weather and amid pleasant surroundings. Owing, to the absence 6f the school teacher the children’s races were not run according to classification. The following were the prize-winners :— Girls’ Races.—M. Keith 1, J. Arthur 2,*M. Keith 3.
