The two people v ere mother anl daughter, Mrs and Miss Maggie Wilson, of Paeroa. Mr G. A. Wilson ■was a patient at the Huia private hospital, across the bridge, and it is understood that his wife and daughter were on their way to visit, him. Mrs Wlison was the first to leave the car, which the conductor states was moving, and though she fell she was uninjured. Miss Wilson left the platform immediately afterwards, and was thrown violently to the ground. She was taken to the general hospital by a passing motorist, and ojn the “Star” going to press was in an unconsciou- condition. Her injuries are to the back and head.
