BUTTER-FAT PAYMENTS. Mr W. H. Blakeway, local secretary of the N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Co., has supplied the following information :— “The gross advance payment sent out from the Paeroa office on the 2OVI inst. for butter-fat supplied in January amounted to £73,278, of which sum £15,31'8 was for cheese suppliers and £57,960 for butter suppliers. The output of butter from the Paeroa, Waihou, and Ngatea factories during January was 148, 170, and 197 tons, respectively. The final winter butter bonus payment of I.lBd for May, and l.ld for June and July, 1922, is now being worked out, and cheques will be posted towards the end of this week. Cheese bonus payment rales are at present being arrived at by the head office, and it is hoped to have word in the course of the next few days as to the amounts available for each cheese factory, when the various payments will be worked out and cheques posted as soon as possible.'
