ENTERTAINMENTS.
CENTRAL THEATRE PICTURES. TONIGHT. THE STORM. “The Storm,” the Universal-Jewel attraction which has won widespread commendation as the outstanding screen success of the year, is to be screened this evening. The story is that of an odd triangle, a man who was afraid of' women because he didn’t know them ; another who was afraid of them because he knew them too well; and a girl who didn’t know anything except that God was good.; They’re all bound together with a snow-locked valley for four months, their fates in the hands of Providence. House Peters, already famed as one of the most outstanding figures on the screen to-day, rises to new heights of artistry in this picture, and brings to the role of Burr an understanding which, coupled with his finished acting, makes for a performance of flawless artistry and beauty.
