PERSONAL.
Cr. AV. Marshall, chairman of the Finance Committee, was at last night’s Paeroa Borough Council meeting unanimously nominated as 'the Council's official candidate for the Mayoralty. Dr. H. G. Rix, of the Otago University, and at present a locum -it Picton Hospital, has' been appointed junipn house surgeon at the Thames Hospital.
